Emailing Pictures from

iPhoto ‘09

homehttp://www.hughsmac.com

1 - Open iPhoto  (obviously).

9 - Hold the Command (apple) key down while clicking on the next picture(s).

3 - Click the Email button on the bottom of the iPhoto window.  A small window opens.

6 - I selected “Small (Faster Downloading)”.

7 - Select “Compose”.   “Mail“ will open and place the photo(s) in an email.   Add your recipient’s address, change the subject if you like, add a message and  click “send”.

2 - Select the picture you want to email by clicking once on the picture.  Notice the blue line around it.

10 -  For a group of pictures, click on the first (10a), then hold the shift key down and click on the last (10b).  All pictures in between will be selected as well.

Tip:   Emailing a lot of pictures at once will affect download speed.  If necessary, split your pictures into more emails.

Note:  If the recipient is expected to just view the picture on their computer, it will look just fine sent as “Small” or  “Medium”.   If you expect them to print an “8x10”, I suggest sending it in a larger, or Actual Size.  Sending a larger picture file will take more time for the recipient to receive it.  Some servers may even reject it.   Especially when sending more than one or two pictures at once.

4 -  Notice the “Size” bar.  You can change the selected size, by clicking on the bar.

5 -  A drop down menu opens and shows several choices.

Sending two or more? See steps # 8 -10.

Sending Two or More Pictures.

8 - Select the first picture by clicking on it.
